These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of HonestQuote AI (the "Service"), provided by john Lloyd ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service you are contracting with john Lloyd.

1. Acceptance

By accessing or continuing to use the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You confirm you are of legal age and, if acting for an organisation, have authority to bind it.

2. The Service

HonestQuote AI uses artificial intelligence to analyse repair estimates you upload and produce an audit comparing parts and labor to fair market rates, along with a trust score and negotiation guidance.

3. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the Service. In particular, you must not:

  • use the Service for any unlawful purpose, fraud, or spam;
  • infringe the intellectual property or other rights of any party;
  • interfere with security, including introducing malware, probing, or scraping;
  • upload content you do not have the rights to submit.

4. AI outputs and your responsibilities

You are responsible for your inputs and for how you use any outputs. Audit results are generated by AI, may be inaccurate or incomplete, and are provided for general informational purposes only — they are not professional, legal, or financial advice. Verify results before relying on them. We may remove or restrict content and refuse or filter outputs at our discretion.

5. Intellectual property

We retain all ownership of the Service and its intellectual property, including the software, documentation, and branding. You retain ownership of content you upload and grant us a limited license to host and process it solely to provide the Service.

6. Payment and subscription terms

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Audits are sold as one-time purchases (single audits and audit packs).

7. Service level

The Service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we disclaim all implied warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim, and we exclude liability for indirect, consequential, or special damages. Nothing limits liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which john Lloyd operates, and disputes are subject to the courts of that jurisdiction.
